Yes, I am accepting individual clients at this time in mornings and afternoons.

What is your availability?

I am currently available from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM on Monday through Friday. I am out of the office and do not accept appointments, phone calls, or e-mails on the weekend. I never accept text messages.

Can you provide me a digital copy of your Contact Information Form and Declaration Statement?

Sure! All therapy forms can be found here.

Do you take insurance?

I currently take Blue Cross, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and UnitedHealthcare Commercial. Please have your insurance card ready for the first appointment. If you have different insurance, you can collect receipts from our sessions and submit a request for partial reimbursement from your insurance company as an out-of-network provider.

How do I schedule a session or contact you?

The fastest way to schedule an appointment is through my website by clicking the "contact us" button at the top of the page; however, you can send me an e-mail at desongytherapy@gmail.com. I'm also reachable by phone call - (504) 495-0346.

What if I have to cancel or reschedule a session?

Life happens, and sometimes there's nothing we can do to control that.  I am fine to cancel or reschedule, but do require 24 hrs. notice or you will be charged half the rate ($75).

Where are you located?

I am located at 5217 W. Napoleon Ave. Metairie, LA 70001.

Are there other counselors you would recommend?

Sure! Feel free to visit the referrals section of my website if you’re looking for additional mental health resources in the Greater New Orleans area!

How often do you update your website?

I try to provide monthly updates to the blog. Most recently, I added a recommended readings section in order to give additional guidance for those who are looking for literature pertaining to a particular mental health focus. I hope you enjoy some of the content and that it assists you on your road to therapeutic change.
